We’re not trying to be flashy or perfect—we’re just real people who love Jesus and each other. Our church is a place where brokenness meets grace and faith becomes action. We believe God is still changing lives, and your story is part of something bigger.

  • It’s All About Jesus

    The Bible starts with the creation of all that we know through Jesus and concludes with His grace, granting sinful man eternity in Heaven for a repentant heart that trusts in Christ as Savior. At Journey, we are all about Jesus and everything we do and say ultimately points to Him.

  • Core Beliefs

    The Bible is our guide in all matters and establishes some essential doctrines — especially concerning our understanding of God, salvation, and church matters. While some may disagree on peripheral doctrine, the essentials that we hold to are non-negotiable. Leaders of the early Church established the Nicene creed as a theological declaration based from scripture to summarize the core doctrines of scripture. The Apostle’s Creed is Other secondary points of doctrine are taught through messages, some written materials, and other teachings at Journey.

  • The Nicene Creed

    Originally written in A.D. 325 at the First Council of Nicaea and later revised at the First Council of Constantinople in A.D. 381, this creed was written to establish and clarify doctrinal points that were not discussed in previously accepted creeds.


    We believe in one God, the Father, the Almighty, maker of Heaven and Earth, of all that is, seen and unseen.


    We believe in one Lord, Jesus Christ, the only Son of God, eternally begotten of the Father, God from God, light from light, true God from true God, begotten, not made, of one being with the Father; through Him all things were made.


    For us and for our salvation He came down from Heaven, was incarnate of the Holy Spirit and the Virgin Mary and became truly human. For our sake He was crucified under Pontius Pilate; He suffered death and was buried. On the third day He rose again in accordance with the Scriptures; He ascended into heaven and is seated at the right hand of the Father. He will come again in glory to judge the living and the dead, and His kingdom will have no end.


    We believe in the Holy Spirit, the Lord, the Giver of Life, who proceeds from the Father [and the Son], who with the Father and the Son is worshipped and glorified, who has spoken through the prophets.


    We believe in one holy Christian and apostolic Church. We acknowledge one baptism for the forgiveness of sins. We look for the resurrection of the dead, and the life of the world to come. Amen.

  • The Apostles’ Creed

    It is believed that some of the Apostles may have actually contributed to the formulation of the Apostles’ Creed. While it is first recorded c.215 AD, this creed was used often prior to it’s writing during baptism. Some scholars believe it was used as early as 100 AD.

    I believe in God the Father Almighty, Maker of heaven and earth.


    And in Jesus Christ his only Son our Lord; who was conceived by the Holy Ghost, born of the Virgin Mary, suffered under Pontius Pilate, was crucified, dead, and buried; he descended into hell; the third day he rose again from the dead; he ascended into heaven, and sitteth on the right hand of God the Father Almighty; from thence he shall come to judge the quick and the dead.


    I believe in the Holy Spirit; the holy Christian Church; the communion of saints; the forgiveness of sins; the resurrection of the body; and the life everlasting
